Washington Mutual's four-hour homebuyer education classes cover the entire process of buying a home.  Educational topics include: deciding whether homeownership is right for you; shopping for a home that meets your needs; finding the right mortgage; closing the sale; maintaining the house after purchase; successfully handling your mortgage payment and what to do if you are unable to meet the

mortgage payment.  Washington Mutual's homebuyer education class demystifies homebuying questions such as interest rates, down payments, home inspections, closing costs and working with brokers and lenders.   After the class is complete, the instructor offers one-on-one counseling with participants who may need additional assistance in planning for their home purchase.
